Goals on University Football Field Slanted in Strong Washington State Winds

The uprights of a football field’s goals at a university in Tacoma were seen slanting during strong winds in Washington state on November 15.The National Weather Service said the strong winds were a result of an oncoming cold front.Some of the strongest wind gusts were recorded Coupeville, reaching a high of 75 mph, the NWS said.Video posted by David Peterson showed the posts on the field of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma on what he said was a “crazy day of wild winds”.“Not the easiest day to kick a field goal,” Peterson added on Twitter.
