The Steelers and Cardinals looks like a mismatch at first glance. Until you realize what the Steelers wins are built on a foundation of straw. Good defense combined with playing poor teams have the Steelers looking good at first glance until you realize that the victories have come against teams with a combined 6-16 record and the Steelers have not exactly been destroying those teams. The defense is not the problem though as the Steelers are as good as any in the NFL with just 270 yards per game given up, the problem is the offense is held together with baling wire and gum wrappers, particularly the line which will be starting its 7th combination this week. Basically you have a Steelers team that is not is good as its record, and a Cardinal team that is not as bad as its record.
None of that really matters though as Kevin Kolb has been just horrendous. For a player who was supposed to save the Cardinals, his 77.2 rating on the season is not going to get it done. In the end the Steelers defense is just too tough for the Cardinals and they will prevail.
Our prediction: Steelers 24 – Arizona 17
